A fire burns in my chest
And a dangerous gleam is in my eye
To revenge myself upon those fell men
Who presume to take away this life - they must die!
As my footfalls carry me nearer to my foe
I see you once more
Accusing eyes beseeching me to turn aside from this course

The white hot rage that’s driving me
Has a vice grip on my resolve
This cannot be stopped
The man I once was has been consumed by the creature created
A being of searing white light
A scion of righteous devastation
I’ve come too far to turn away from this
In the aftermath
I look down at blood-soaked limbs
Pain wracks my body
And sorrow begins to tear my soul apart

Overcome with loathing of my inner self

The blood on these hands

This writhing grasp
It chokes the breath from me
Shadows dance before my eyes
Obscuring all I see
Though I am bound
Dark figures pass unseen
Their sharpened tongues spit bitter words
Of spite and fallacy
How am I here?
What has become of me?
Arcane powers slowly rise
Yet veiled in secrecy
Their piercing gaze
stares deep in to my soul
My blood now turning
So cold
Hidden deep beneath the waves
Within a prison outside of time itself
No light will ever reach this place
Where an ancient evil slumbers endlessly
Few know it’s truest name
Such words have power and never should be spoken
Its dreams cast shadows on this earth
It's bonds have weakened and soon they will be broken
The chants grow louder and fill the chamber
Grotesque effigies stare down, my end is surely near
Unearthly horrors subjugate my senses
Stupefied by blinding terror, overwhelmed with fear
A deafening howl hits me like a giant’s fist
Senselessly I succumb to the utter bliss
My body I give freely in sacrifice
To summon he who waits, willingly I pay this price
I pay this price
A vision of darkness now freed
Abyssic roars send forth waves of decay
In deathly strides taken from the sea
A terrible majesty upon this world now holds sway

What is this that stands before me?
A shadowed realm of spectral hallways
Where ethereal walkers dwell
And speak to me in tongues - a storm of wordless whispers
I walk through once-crowded galleries
Ensorcelled by tragedy and draped in regret
My kingdom diminished and my subjects lost
Bound to wander these halls as a formless wraith
Memories are all that remain for me
Echoes of old glories and shadows of the past
Recall is denied me
What has come to pass?
Is this my fate forevermore
In these halls of loss?
Their whispers turn to screams
These restless spirits swirl around me
Confining my soul within
Howling, longing, demanding.
Surging, urging, beckoning me…
A pale soft glow begins to light the vaulted chamber
Diaphanous courtiers fade into the steps of a silent dance
Wisp-like, tattered robes sway and weave around the vaporous dancers
And slowly I am drawn into this ghostly masquerade
